The Baldwin Hills Parklands
The Baldwin Hills Parklands are 480 acres of public parks managed by California State Parks, LA County Parks & Rec, LA City Rec & Parks, Culver City Parks, and the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority.
The Park 2 Playa Trail runs 13 miles east to west from Stocker Corridor, through the Parklands and down the Ballona Creek bike path to the Santa Monica Bay. Once completed in 2019, this regional trail will provide visitors with an uninterrupted trail system for hiking and bicycling through the Parklands. The final sections of the trail are now in the planning phase and will create a pedestrian bridge across La Cienega Blvd connecting Kenneth Hahn SRA to the new Stoneview Nature Center.
